Marc
Hi, I'm Marc Wolfgram, a 52 year old Mac Geek—I
have the T-shirt to prove it!
My wife of 20 some odd years is Tammy (nee Hoffman). We have three girls,
Jenny, Gwen and Megan. Now that Jenny is married, and Gwen is demonstrating her independence, Megan is the only one still consuming resources here on a daily
basis.
We live in Hartland, a wonderful little place in Southeastern Wisconsin.
Back home! We returned to Waukesha county after almost 10 years in Wisconsin
Rapids, where I was a senior software engineer for an
educational software company.
Before that I worked at GE Medicals Systems and Eaton's Research Center, and created Apple IIgs software in my free time, most notably Foundation, a resource editor under the auspices of Lunar Productions. If you want the source code, it's free.
I own and operate MacCetera
LLC,
a small-business providing both Macintosh™ consulting and
web design and hosting services. I love being out of the corporate world, and find that this is a lot of work, but very satisfying and fun. I started joking that as an independent business owner and sole employee, I had the freedom to put my "80 hours in whenever I wanted" That has now segued to the Q/A of "How many hours do you work each week?" ... "All of them!"
The picture above was taken in May, 1997 in the Austrian Alps. The object in my left hand is a bit of snow leftover from winter - my amazment was that a few days early we were in balmy Milano Italy, a few hundred kilometers to the south eating gelato.
